WARRANTY INFORMATION

Sometimes even the best quality products will show early signs of wear, tear or manufacturer defect. During and beyond your 100 night comfort exchange period, the majority of products we sell are covered by national manufacturer's warranties. Following are some questions to review when considering a warranty claim.

What is a warranty?

A warranty protects the consumer from manufacturing defects that would create the need for a replacement. Warranties do not cover problems that are a result of misuse, mishandling or if a consumer has not been meeting the requirements outlined in the warranty card.

If I bought the bed from Sleep Country USA who honors the warranty?

Because warranties are designed to protect against manufacturing defects, a warranty is provided by the company that made the goods, not the company that sells them. Although Sleep Country USA does not carry the warranties on the beds we sell, we do provide our customers with a 100 Night Comfort Guarantee. This guarantee gives the customer the opportunity to exchange the bed they purchased during the first 2 months of ownership if they find they are not happy with their initial selection.

If there is something wrong with my bed, who do I contact?

Contact a salesperson for assistance. Sleep Country USA is happy to offer its customers assistance in initiating warranty claims. Our Customer Service department (800-683-1923) will process the customer´s warranty claims.

As part of our exclusive Customer Care Plus program, Sleep Country USA now offers an Online Home Inspection Report. This report will enable CCP customers to provide us with essential warranty information at the touch of a button. Whether you are interested in purchasing a new mattress or are an existing Sleep Country USA customer, be sure to ask a sales professional about this exciting program, and the benefits you gain as a result. If you are already a Customer Care Plus member, when you contact Customer Service for a claim ask a representative for the Online HIR customer login and password, and eliminate the wait!

My adjustable bed is not going up or down as it should...what should I do?

First, do not try to force the bed into an upright or prone position – this can cause permanent damage that is not covered by your warranty. You should contact the manufacturer´s warranty department immediately. They have technicians who can either provide you with some trouble-shooting tips or a repair technician to fix the problem. Depending on the year that you bought your adjustable bed, you will also need to know which manufacturer to contact:

SOME IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

Our guarantee and the Manufacturer´s Warranty: Sleep Country USA offers a 100 Night Comfort Guarantee. This begins on the day of delivery and lasts for the next consecutive 100 nights, which allows the customer to exchange for any other bed we sell if they decide they are dissatisfied with the comfort of their original selection, or to recieve a full refund. Beyond this initial 100-night period, the products we sell are covered by national manufacturer´s warranties, which range in length up to 20 years, depending on the product purchased. Terms and conditions of the national manufacturer´s warranty are contained within the warranty card and are delivered with each mattress for the consumer´s convenience. If you need to open a warranty claim, simply contact your salesperson for assistance.

Mattress Pads: At minimum, a standard pad is recommended for all new mattresses to preserve and further protect the surface fabric from damage, spills and/or stains.

Rotation Schedule: Every manufacturer´s warranty now requires that a mattress be rotated on a regular basis. With the newer “no-flip” models available, end-over-end rotation has been eliminated---older models still require it. Regular rotation allows the upholstery fabrics and foam layers to ´reconstitute´ and breathe, regaining their original form and loft. Failure to maintain a regular rotation schedule may result in permanent damage to your mattress and can also void your warranty coverage. Check your warranty card to determine if your mattress is a newer no-flip model or an older model that still requires end-over-end flipping. Your warranty card also outlines how to rotate your mattress correctly as well as the recommended frequency of rotation.

Adequate Foundations: WARNING! An improper foundation could void your warranty. When a new mattress is purchased, it is vital to the life of your warranty that your foundation carry the proper support. Both mattress and foundation wear out together - every time the mattress is used, the foundation is also being used. The foundation does double duty. Not only does it provide the support needed for the mattress, it also provides the support for the bed´s occupant(s), acting as a shock absorber for the entire set. As spring coils age, they may also become fatigued and will stop providing the support required for the mattress. See Warranty Information for further details.

Keep Your Paperwork! Proof of purchase is required by the various manufacturers before they can proceed with customer´s warranty claims and/or other adjustments to their accounts. For this reason, we advise you to keep your receipts, order copies, warranty paperwork, etc. for future reference. Even with today´s modern technology, important information can sometimes become lost or irretrievable due to system failures or upgrades. Keeping your receipts/records can protect you against your purchase history becoming inaccessible. These are the white tags sewn onto the end of each mattress or foundation. While many people like to remove them, we recommend that you leave them in place. Law labels have information on them such as model number, date of manufacture, etc., which is very helpful in processing warranty claims should your paperwork become lost.
